Why Professional Installation Matters
A quality faucet fitted badly will fail before a budget one fitted properly. Most of the fixture problems we are called out to are not the fixture — they are the connection behind it. An over-tightened supply line, a wax seal that was not set square, a dishwasher drain without a proper high loop, a saddle valve on a fridge line quietly weeping into the floor.
Common Fixture Installation Myths
“Fitting a faucet is a simple DIY job.”
Sometimes it is. But old shut-off valves seize, supply lines strip, and the connections sit in the exact spot where a slow leak does the most expensive damage. If a valve will not close, stop and call — that part is not a DIY problem.
“An expensive fixture means fewer problems.”
Price mostly buys finish and feel. Reliability comes from correct installation and decent internal parts. A mid-range faucet fitted properly outlasts a premium one fitted badly, every time.
“A rocking toilet just needs tightening.”
Tightening the bolts on a rocking toilet often cracks the porcelain or the flange. The rock usually means the flange height or the seal is wrong, and that needs fixing underneath, not squeezing from above.
“You have to buy the fixture from your plumber.”
Not with us. Buy your own and we will fit it. We do not take manufacturer kickbacks and we are not going to push a brand on you.

Check what is behind it
Before anything comes out, we check the shut-offs, the supply lines and the condition of what is already there. Surprises found now are cheaper than surprises found later.
Step 2
Fit it to code
Correct seals, correct clearances, correct drain configuration. The parts you never see are the parts that decide whether it leaks in two years.
Step 3
Test and clean up
We run it under real conditions, check every joint dry, take the old unit away, and leave the space clean.

Can I supply my own faucet or toilet?
Absolutely. Buy whatever you like and we will fit it. We do not take manufacturer kickbacks, so we have no reason to push you toward a particular brand.
How long does it take to install a toilet?
A straightforward swap is usually well under a couple of hours. It takes longer if the flange is damaged or the shut-off valve has seized, which we would flag and price before starting.
Will you take the old fixture away?
Yes. The old unit goes with us and we leave the space clean.
Do you install fixtures during a renovation?
